I would play a midfield of Rice, Noble and Soucek. Noble could sit back and allow one of the other two to take it in turns to venture forward.

I wouldn’t. No man is bigger than the club, no matter the occasion, especially if we need something from this. I would bring him on if we are in a good position (or equally out of the game) with a few left. Pick the team to win the game.

Why? They’re nailed on to win that. I’d be shocked if it’s anything more than a handsome victory. That gives them Liverpool away where they have to win and we have to lose both our last two. I mean it’ll be unlikely but I guess don’t put it past us to at least make it interesting.

Yea, really weird that, I can't fathom it. However, I did see that it's double carpet 33/1 that we have 4 goal attempts, so that might be worth 50p of your easy earned.

Manuel it's been a long time since heard that expression double carpet.
In criminal, or prison, slang dating from the nineteenth century, the term ‘carpet stretch’ meant three months’ imprisonment; three months was reputedly the length of time required by an inmate to to weave a carpet or mat for his cell in the prison workshop.
Thus, in the betting ring, odds of 3/1 became known as ‘carpet’ and, naturally enough, odds of 33/1 became known as ‘double carpet’.
